Introducing Neave
Neave is a solo venture in which he brings his deepest electro-distorto-pop-noir fantasies to life. He started out in 2005 as a performance artist appearing at various events quite often dressed head to toe in gold warbling over distorted samples of found sounds. However these appearances quite often lead to bemused audiences and the occasional threat of violence. So it was back to the drawing board. After much deliberation he decided to write some proper songs and get some better outfits. This seemed to do the trick and he has since become a vital part of the London live scene. Highlights so far include support slots for Crystal Castles and The Presets as well as putting on his own one off 'Beat The Clock' club night in Manchester. 2008 saw the release of his first Ep 'Trials' and all 100 copies sold out in it's first week of release. 2009 has so far seen Neave go back to being a one man band (his collaborator Charlie Feinstein taking a break for the time being) and focusing on Berlin as well as London. His next Ep will be unleashed very soon!
